| | So. The random people from church are coming over tonight. We have 4 for sure, plus two of us, plus 2.5 more that are likely. One had to cancel. He is currently my favorite, as I was pretty worried about feeding that many people.
I've taken the past couple days to get back on top of cleaning the house. I was burned out enough that I let it slide, big time, and that had to be fixed. The kitchen now literally sparkles. I dusted everything, keep the dishes done, completely disassembled and scrubbed the stove, swept the floor, and even scrubbed out the little crevices on the front of the dishwasher. I did the bathroom yesterday, down to washing the shower curtain and scrubbing the tub, not that any of our guests should have occasion to use it.
Last night I had Brent show me how to use the carpet cleaner. We then spot cleaned the floor. Dogs are so messy. The sheer amount of dirt and grime that came up off the floor was shocking to me. I think I'll be cleaning the carpet a lot more regularly from here on out. ...is that weird?
I also made my "So Easy Aimee Can Make Them" cookies yesterday afternoon. When I get home from work today, I'll be making my trademark sugar cookies and then starting dinner. Good thing I already walked the dogs before I came to work today...
